A few minutes ago my i2Asia V4b03005 site got hacked..cannot get into the forum. This is running on Brinkster. It's taken over by haoibao.net forum - looks like a Vietnamese or Thai site - and its down.asp page... am not sure what else to do but to shutdown this site and either rebuilt or forget about it.
Just put an event calendar on website, making a link with the web site and the forum, and might have opened up a window of "opportunities" ...
Anycase, I won't have a unicode based multilingual V4bx forum running any more.
This is what took over my forum site.

This Forum is also Snitz 2000 forum.....

This is weired. I went in to http://www26.brinkster.com/i2asia/forum/down.asp (which the above changed from "down" to "default"...) and opened to view, and I saw the mentioned forum...haoibao.net forum there, and a few seconds later, it switched to default.asp, my forum top page...I went out of Brinkster server and clicked a link in my IE favoriates and it was back, and ok, did the same from HP and it worked this time.....
Anyway, thanks for your attention if any... at least this bumped my posting number twice... GEE!< |

Also check the status of other members. (S)He could have created an admin grom her/himself...
Do you have any idea how this came out? I know you don't have access to logs, but...

Changed Admin PWD... and removed my own/other user with Admin priviledges... Only other myself as a Moderator with the original ADMIN... I didn't see anything unusual - it's a very samll member list.
Thanks for your attention again.... Freaky experience. Am now putting up all possible email security, firewalls, etc. perhaps...

First, run file admin_login.asp
Second, run file down.asp to running forum back, every thing will be OK
OR
Brinkster's server down, ask them.....
