Does anyony have an idea how to integrate snitz with sharepoint Portal.

Key point are:
- Seeing the discussion at the portal site (Web Part)?
- Searching through discussion as searching documents?

Please help.

There are several Mods which allow you to do your first point, and your second point is called SEARCH on the menu

It would be useful if you gave us a link to this portal so we could see it for ourselves

My guess is that rcg means Microsoft Sharepoint Portal Server: http://www.microsoft.com/sharepoint/

Yes - I mean Microsoft Sharepoint Portal.

You need web parts to display anything on the portal. I read at a Sharepoint Forum that Snitz is the forum to use with SharePoint - but I still haven't figured out how it is done??

Searching means searching through both documents on the Portal and entries in the forum.

Does anybody have an idea?

I hadn't heard about Microsoft Sharepoint Portal before but if they have forums and suggest using Snitz, you might want to ask there how it's done if nobody here knows the answer.

To integrate Snitz in Sharepoint Portal Server (SPS) do this:

You need to be logged in as Coordinator in your SPS portal
Click: Content > Add New Web part > we'll call it MyForum
Check "display this web part in a frame"
If you want you can set a fixed height/width
"Type of content" is HTML
Check "Get content from the following link" and insert the url to your Snitz forum.

Easy peasy
