Can't login to forum after upgrade from 3.3.05 to current. When looking at the Database Forum_Members all the passwords are encrypted and no user can log in, changing the password for Admin allows me to login to the forum but not into admin options.

Please help.

have you tried deleting your cookies, closing all browser windows and logging in again?
Passwords don't get changed when you run setup, they only get encrypted. You will only be able to log in to your forums by using 3.4.xx forum files.

Yes i have deleted all files, this happes on computer that have never been to the forum, i see that the passwords are encrypted, if i change them to plain text i can log in, but can't enter the admin section. If i add a new user, that user can not log in.

Strangly if i run http://forum.bob.com/admin_login.asp it will let me login as Admin, and then i can logini as Admin on the main site, if i then logout i can't login again, tells me that username and password are wrong. Since other created users are not admin they can't login at all. I have access to many computer here that i can test with that have never been to this site and i get the same errors. I setup this test site after trying to upgrade the main site and running into these problems <this is a fresh database on MS SQL, whit a fresh install of Snitz 3.4.03>

Sure, you use the right database? Looks like it`s a new one on the site.

Yes, i was able to login as Admin by using admin_login.asp, but if i log out, i can't log back in at the main page.

Create an accout at http://forum.bob.com new users can't login. The old site works fine... I was going to upgrade my other site which has the same setup as the old one and it's at http://forum.bob2.com

Yes, that's what I thought. You can verify that I managed to login and post at your forum (user test), but I did it from the active topics page.

Your problem is certainly the caching of default.asp. You can just rename it to something else and you'll see that the page still appears, even if the default.asp file is no longer in your forum folder.

To fix the problem have your host reset the server.
