I upgraded from an earlier version about 3 weeks ago - upto the current level - 3.4.0.1. Its been stable for all of those 3 weeks. Todays error is the first error that I've seen.
These are mysteries to us. At least to me. Maybe someone else could explaimn why that might occur. But to fix it you need to convert your database to an access 2000 database.
Usually happens when your host updates the MDAC on the server. I believe that the newer version of the MS Jet Drivers no longer supports Access97 (I don't know for sure though).
OK - thanks for the quick advice guys - I really appriciate it - I didnt think I'd get a response so quick - especially this time of day (being a UK user).
Thanks again - and I'll let you know if the upgrade worked .......... Cheers ......
Sorry for the delay - but as you suggested an upgrade from Access 97 -> Access 2000 of the db worked a treat. Strange - the config.asp was somehow set to Access 97. Could this have caused the sudden failure (I guess so - as nothing else has change). Hosts say nowt changed over night - and the forum went down when no-one was on it ... v.wierd...
Anyway - all is fixed. Cheers guy - *really* appriciate it.
