Hi,
This is a general dev. question , but I think the answer (if one will be found) will benefit many people here, so here goes:
I'm working with PWS (on win millenium) and an access DB.
All the error messages related to the database (ado errors) are in jibberish (I think unicode). Is there anyway to switch them to English?

I tried changing the encoding of the page with the browser,
setting the encoding with an html meta tag
with the response.charset
through the system language setup
and through access it self

as you can imagine this is a real hindernace since the only cluw as to my error is is only the line number!

Thanks strum<

What is your OS, version & language?

I'm nearly sure that Unicode is not the problem. Can you provide a link?<

OK I've got them. It must be specific to your system, Win ME & MDAC version & unicode...

The nearest thing I could find is: http://support.microsoft.com/default.aspx?scid=kb;en-us;Q265885 . Actually Win ME was a failure of M$, there are very few articles on it in the knowledbase...

What version of MDAC do you have? Did you try to upgrade your MDAC version?
