I was wondering if it is possible to create a image dir for this forum. And also wondering what mod I need to create the visual effects like I have seen on snitz exchange???

With 3.4 it's possible to have a image dir, yes and you define it's name at the Admin Options->Main Forum Configuration.

I think you're talking about the Advanced Color Mod. It should be available from Snitz Exchange, though I don't know whether it works with Snitz 3.4.
