For some strange reason sometimes only the top category shows with it's forums even with a CTR Refresh.
To fix it I have to close the browser window and open a fresh one.
Why would this be and has anyone else reported it.
Thanks
Chris

Yes exactly like that.
Am I being thick or is there something new I have missed ?
Thanks
p.s. Also the jump to last post doesn't work and it's a clean install with SQL back end ? I read the other threads about it but no exact answer.
Thanks again |

no, not new, you just need to click on the that is in the top left hand corner of the table to show all Categories again. (notice the ?CAT_ID=2 that is at the end of the URL? that means to only show Category ID #2) |

Fine that works, but why does it suddenly decide for it's self to just show that category.
Does it after posting or changing things in admin.
Certainly weird. |

you must have clicked on a link for just a category instead of "All Forums". It's not going to just suddenly start adding ?CAT_ID=2 to the URL on it's own. |

I see the problem now
When you click the specific forum when you have one open from the cascading links, the links themselves vanish.
They are there for everything else
Is that not a little confusing. |

You have not given any details on a problem with the last post link. All you said was it doesn't work. That doesn't give me anything to go on. Is there an error message? If so, what is the exact error message, (filename and line #). What page were you trying to access it from? (default.asp, forum.asp, etc...) Just saying that something doesn't work isn't enough. And, since you already posted this in another thread, why not wait for a response there? |
