Hi,

I've got version 3.4.03 and was playing with a read-only forum. The soloution I found was to lock the forum. This works fine untill the moderator is trying to edit a topic. (Error message: Page can't be displayed when klicking "Post Changes"). The moderator can edit the replys without any problem.

Is this a bug, or do I have done something wrong?

More info:

The admin does't have any problem only the administrator.
It doesn't matter if I lock the catagory or the forum, the moderator has the same problem.

What is the error? Is it a forum message or a browser message or a vbscript error? Is the person who originally posted the message trying to edit it?

It's a browser error, saying that the page cant be displayed.

And it is the same moderator that has posted the message.

A browser error seems to indicate that the forms action is set incorrectly. What does the url say on the error page?

For both the admin and the moderator its displays the same url. The only difference is that the admin is comming back to the forum and the moderator get stucked with a page not found.

Try disabling Friendly Error Messages in IE. Maybe the error is being hidden.
