Just wanted to ask a few questions before deleting a member from my forum... I have a member who has, over time, become a pain to other members and posts irrelevent and sometimes abusive posts. If i delete this member.....

1) Will all his posts also disappear? There are some quite good relevent posts that i would like to keep, the others i can delete manually.

2) If I delete some of his posts but leave the member active, does option on the Admin page recalculate his post count and ranking?

3) can i set a "hold" option for moderation on this particular member so that his posts have to be approved by a moderator being entering the forum?

Thanks

Rad

Is there any way that a member can be "demoted" by decreasing their post count?

when Admin edit a member's profile (for example:click on Members page..), he can change someone's # of Posts.

but i'm not sure if something else also need to care regarding decreasing member's "level"...

Well if you change the post count as Dora Moon suggested, and if the count comes below the number needed for him to remain at his current level, he will be "automatically" demoted. In fact, the member level is always determined dynamically through the post count, so decreasing or increasing it can have that effect, yes.
