I aim to integrate the Snitz forums with the whole of my website and would like to see an integrated news-submission option for memebers. For example, often users post general news in one forum that is relevant and interesting to a broader audience. It would be great if the user could click on a checkbox that submitted the post as news where the administrator of the website/forum would be able to authorize it as a news posting. The post could them be automatically moved to a news section, or tagged as news in the database.
Basically, all a website admin would need to do, for their main-page news, is print out all of the posts that were tagged as news and sort them by date, etc. |
