Hello everybody.

It appears there are some users who want the usergroup mod with the additional features. I´ve worked on that, and the new version fetaures

3 kinds of usergroupsgroups
- open (anybody can join)
- moderated (validation by usergroup moderators)
- closed (only usergroup admin/modearotrs can add members)

Unlimited subgroups
- from a group anybody can create a subgroup, but the subgroup won´t be activated untill a moderator/admin of the parent group has validated it

Use in Private/hidden forum
- can be used in permission setting on forums or set directly on any private forum directly from creation of group

User signup for groups:

- Users can join/apply for membership directly from the usergroups.asp page.

Local or global groups:
- lists (depending on choice) either local groups or global groups if multiple forums with same userdatabse is implemented.

screenshots: none available yet
demo: not avalaible

- I HAVE THE CODE FOR THIS AND IT ALL WORKS, BUT I HAVE NO TIME TO UPGRADE IT FOR 3.4 AND FINISH IT OFF - SO I`M LOOKING FOR SOMEONE TO TAKE OVER THIS PROJECT AND FINISH IT UP! - (nikkol, maybe?) - I won´t release a 75% done system and I think it should be done for 3.4 anyways, so some rewriting of existing code will have to be done.
With some good work I think this MOD is definatey worth it and maybe it can be the building block of usergroup integration in 4.xxx?

- So if anyone is up for taking over, send me a mail.
