I have NT Authentication setup on my forum (V3.4.02) and have autologon enabled. Everything was working fine until today when I received a call from a user who said they had the following error when entering register.asp:

Microsoft OLE DB Provider for ODBC Drivers error '80040e07'

[Microsoft][ODBC Microsoft Access Driver] Data type mismatch in criteria expression.

/snitz34/register.asp, line 586

Well line 586 in my register.asp looks like this:

my_Conn.Execute (strSql),,adCmdText + adExecuteNoRecords

As I said, all users up until today have been able to register without having to register thru register.asp. They've simply been taken in with autologon.

Any ideas, advice appreciated.

try to have the code post the users info. Might have something not set correctly in the domain settings.

I had a user with no Full name set in the Domain account so the forums could not set a NULL

Sorry everyone, I figured it out. I'd been messing with upgrading from a previous DB and it had reset some of the Allow Zero Length fields!!! Bah!!!

Sorted out now though.

Thanx for looking.

Thought we had this licked but it appears not. I'm fine as long as I stay in the V3.4.01 version but when I upgrade to V3.4.02 and then apply all the changes that have been highlighted in the bugs forum for V3.4.02 update then I still get the above error message.

Any help appreciated.

Has no one else come across this problem then?
