I'd like to use the usergroup mod on Snitz version 3.4.01
Can anybody tell me what i have to change about it so that it will work??
I saw that the inc_top.asp is not present anymore....
Maybe somebody has een another mod so i can work with usergroups??

Almost all Mods need implement again to fit new 3.4 Snitz.
so unless you can do this by yourself, or just waiting the new 3.4 Mods release...
as i know, the UserGroup Alpha still unfinish. and it missing something important in the download file. i think it'll be very hard to get it work..(even in 3.3.x)
if you really want to do this by yourself, i will suggest you try to get the original UserGroup Mod by Nikkol. it'll more easy to get it work~  |

It may be just me, but User Groups is something a forum needs to be built on.
Its not something you can 'build in' |

At some point ... I will create a new User Groups MOD ... but for the time being, with only the functionality that I need. Others can build on it if they like. Here is a brief description of what I have in mind:
1. Ability to group users into groups.... duh.
2. Ability to assign groups to allowed member list forums.
That's all I really need. However, others have already asked about making it possible for users to apply to be part of a group (this is something Morpheus did on top of my original script, so I'm not sure I want to go about it myself). Also, ability for moderators to manage user groups as well. (I might do this. It shouldn't be too hard to implement that.)
And Nathan ... you are right. It would be much better if grouping were part of the base code because there are so many other MODs and standard features that might conflict with a User Group MOD. |

That's exactly what i would like to have!! That's what i ment in my first post...
For now i've tried Easymoderation v2.0.00. Works great but i miss the possibility of an admin who can assign moderators within a group. Someting like a chief (admin) of a group. His employees are the moderator within that group
I know a forum who is using this kind of system.

It's a dutch site, but look at the moderator part.
I hope they don't mind that someone is using it too.
