On the category headers on the main forum page. (default.asp) All other links change to the hover color, but that one does not.

That's by design. There is no hover link color for categories.

Yeah, that has me confused, too. I swear it wasn't like this in 3.3.xx. On my pages, I'm getting some hovers in the default red color, and others (the links on top Home | Profile, etc.) in the color I've chosen (magenta).

I don't know if it makes any difference, but I just moved my database, and I also know that my host (Interland) caches all pages for 500 page loads, or at least that's what they've told me.
