Alright there,

I go this on updateing the databse:
2147467259 | The changes you requested to the table were not successful because they would create duplicate values in the index, primary key, or relationship. Change the data in the field or fields that contain duplicate data, remove the index, or redefine the index to permit duplicate entries and try again.

Does this mean I should delete the filed and then try setting up again? The field was created but I guess there was errors?

Thanks, Robin.

I got this also, The way I got it to work successfully was to remove the FORUM_CONFIG_NEW from the database because that is where the error is coming from. I then reinstalled the database and did the run setup.asp again. It will recoginize it as a new database and ask for a username and password. Once done then I when back into Admin Options and Check Installation, then clicked update database. After all that I could then get the dbs upgrade to work with the Active Users. Of course by deleting the FORUM_CONFIG_NEW I lost all Admin settings and had to redue them all.

This was the way I got it to work with my exisiting Access database but someone else might have a better way.

Jason

Let me know if it works Dougnut. I plan to install Active Users to my "running forums" tonight and I won't delete the FORUM_CONFIG_NEW table if it works with that error in the exisiting database. As for right now I did delete it to install Active Users to my "test forums" with a copy of the existing database. It works that way also but it could save me some time if it works with just ignoring the error.
