When clicking "MOD setup" it hangs the server. IIS must be restarted etc. It locks the database file as well. 'admin_mod_dbsetup.asp' is the file and I'm running 3.4.01.

Mdac is 2.7 and current with 2000 server etc. The server is tip top. I recall having this issue a long time ago and not using the proper mod asp file but something else to update the database.

????

Yeah, I think this is because IIS doesnt support the File System Object (fso) if you want to set up a mod on IIS you have to use the Alternative MOD Setup link next to the main link

Sadly that was hanging the server as well. All this for avatars too.. sheesh :D

Once IIS was restarted the scipt took some time but started. The code/script didn't take though. Errors. I'm reverting to backup in the meantime.

If you have Norton AntiVirus make sure you have script blocking disabled.
