How do I make a new configvariable?

do I just have to add a

Dim strName

&

strName = Application(strCookieURL & "NAME")

string to config.asp? do I need to add it anywhere else???

I already made the appriopriate changes in the DB. Do I need to edit some SQL code anywhere to pull the new variables from the DB??

Will this new configvariable be configured from an existing Admin options page? If so, then yes, that is all you have to do. The first time you submit that form, the new variable will be added to the database.

hey thanks a lot Richard. I was going to write the config option in the admin page after I had this set up but I see now I had to write it before hand.
