sorry but im not shure witch MOD this problem relates to so therfore no MOD describtion in the topic title, sorry.

Snitz Forums 2000 Version 3.3.03 with, Active Users 4.0 MOD, Email Validation MOD, Hover Color MOD, More Smiles MOD and Private Messages MOD. on MS Access 2000 DB.

The confirmation fields for Email Address and for password is gone.

When trying to register, only 1 field for the email address and 1 field for the password shows up, but there should be 2 fields for both email and password, when pressing "submit" this results in an error message telling that the user trying to register did not fill in email and password confirmation fields, but the fields are not there...funny problem...anyone seen this before

Thx realy need help here...

You have done some reconstruction to your forum. Due to showing of the board rules as first page, you register link is wrong.
It should be register.asp?mode=Register and then it works.

It should be policy.asp?mode=Register

quite simple, i made a change 2 days ago changing:
<a href=""policy.asp""><acronym title=""Register to post to our forum..."">Register</acronym></a>
to
<a target="_blank" href="/webben/register.asp"><acronym title="Become a member at Aagren Network DarkSide"> Register </acronym></a>

cause i changed the path to the forum from wwwroot to wwwroot/webben and changed the inc_top and inc_footer to make em more simple for a noob like me, why i changed the path to the register link from policy.asp to register.asp i don't know.
Anyways, changing the path on the register link from register.asp to policy.asp fixed the problem.

So it now works fine with:
<a target="_blank" href="/webben/policy.asp"><acronym title="Become a member at Aagren Network DarkSide"> Register </acronym></a>

Thx both, if i had used my head i would not have made this problem for my self, sorry to take away your time for a dumb question like that.

Thx Aagren

all i know is that in ../policy.asp when pressing the "agree" button u end on this link:

../register.asp?mode=Register

So all i need to set is the right path to ../policy.asp and then when ppl is "on" ../policy.asp it will take care of link'ing to ../register.asp?mode=Register

but i don't find ../policy.asp?mode=Register to be of any use...sorry...but thx again...*
