Thanks for the note.

Replace line 124 which currently says:

if smilecount + srs("S_Colspan") > 4 then

With this:

if smilecount + srsdata(3,srsi) > 4 then

That should correct the problem. The ZIP has been updated to reflect this change.

This looks like a fun mod, and will be helpful as my users have been requesting more smilies (out of all the things...) Anyway, I noticed Aaron's page has these two funky scrolling tables for sets of smilies. Fun in IE, but no good in an old version of Netscape (something I have to test as some of my users still hang on it). But I also saw GenerationEdge's site, and he just has an "extra smilies" link to a pop-up window. Is this a menu option included with this mod?

Anyone else have a problem with the Smile Manager Plus Admin Screen? Whenever I am trying to delete smiles by clicking in the checkbox, I then click the Updates Smiles List button at the button and the browser freezes! I have not edited anything in this file, so I am not sure what to think....

Anyone have any idea?

WOW! I thought I had screwed up again! Just today, I was placing all my images in a new images folder. All took except for the smiles I had added on my own. When I tried to edit their location with the Smile Manager MOD, my browser [IE 6] froze each & every time that I clicked on the update button. I tried & tried, rebooted, etc. Finally had to abandon the image folder idea.

Aaron S.! Where are you?

I don't know guys, I just installed it and the issue you're having is not present. However, since I do have the Polls MOD installed, I had to alter the installation just a bit but I don't it would make a difference in this case.

I, too, have the poll mod ...

I'm wondering if this might be an upgrade issue. I had the mod installed previously on my 3.3.05 forum before I upgraded to 3.4.03. When I reinstalled Smile Manager, I used the "upgrade" function offered ... How about you, msperry & OpenIntro? Are your situations upgrades or initial installs?

Depending on the # of smiles you have, the admin screen will appear to freeze when clicking update.

It is processing a lot of data using javascript, and it can take some time.

It should not crash your browser, and should eventually go to the UPDATE COMPLETE screen.

I am looking at alternative ways to handle this... without going back to the old way - which was a seperate screen per smile to update.

I only have about 175 smiles total and the second I click the update button, Im toast. I can't even open notepad without the system coming back saying that I don't have enough memory to run it.

Indeed! This turns out to be true. Wait it out, a minute or two, and it does work.

Seems strange, still, as my smilie collection is only about double what Snitz supplies standard. Oh well, at least it works, and the MOD, other than that, is great!
