Afraid not, the code looks exactly the same as the one I'm using.

have almost gothe the problem withthe instr fixed but i am having to run in loops to get it fixed the command for sql server is not instr it is charindex

Does anybody know (Alex042?) when this mod will be 'final'? Need this mod urgently for my 3.4.03 forum (with access'97) but it is still beta; and i am not going to implement beta software on my production server.

Ok, using 8.0 I got it all to wor kexcept a couple of bugs..

Banning IP Range:
Wont work, It probably has to do with commenting out line 111 and 155 to do a quick fix on that error.

Cookies:
When cookies are enabled, it only gives the banned user an asp error which is:

Microsoft VBScript runtime error '800a000d'

Type mismatch: 'rs'

/snitz/inc_ipgate.asp, line 178


If anyone has the fix or know whats wrong, feel free to post

Banning IP Range: have a look at the link I posted above (previous page) to a possible fix

Cokkies error: can you post a link to the lines arround the error you're getting (I rember there was a problem with Type mismatch: 'rs' but I can't rember what it was.

A question

I have created an upload script for users to upload pics, this page does not use the snitz database, but does use the snitz files e.g.
inc file config.asp
inc file inc_header.asp
etc

will banning work with this page as well?
(the IP Gate stuff is in the inc_header.asp)

Adding inc_ipgate.asp to the non-standard files should work fine (I've done it myself without problem)
