Is it possible NOT to specify a size for avatars, so that avatars just load up in their default size? |

What also would be very nice is to combine admin_edit_avatar.asp with admin_review_avatar.asp, so that one can edit the avatars in the review page right away with instead the edit button a update button (icon).
And what I just thought of was also the add option. If the last row would be an empty one to fill in an avatar

All I did was go into topic.asp and remove the two references to Height and Width...Of course that you'd need to do it for the profile and Avatar preview pages too if you wanted to be thorough.

Ok I'm just curious. Wouldn't it be better for everyone if those of you working on this MOD combine your efforts rather than making us non programmers decide which features we are willing to do without? Personally, I want all of the features you have all said you are going to incorporate into "your version." Throw us a bone here ay? |

If you have seen the Smile Manager PLUS admin screen, then you will know what to expect in Avatar PLUS. It will combine all functions into one screen.
I hope to have the MOD completed this weekend (if you include Monday in weekend).
Hamlin did an awesome job converting over the 3.3.xx MOD to 3.4.xx... the PLUS just adds some new functionality on to the MOD.

I think this is a great idea, except that the admin should be able to set the max size, don't want some user to use an avatar that is 500x500. |

So what do you think about the size suggestion? Would it be difficult to make it so that it had no fixed width or height but with a upper limit configurable by the admin?
The reason I'm interested is some animated gifs don't look very good if resized.
I'm NOT a programmer, so I have no idea what it would take to do this, if it is a lot of work that I'm sure I can live with a fixed size.

Only a question : I install this MOD for version 3.4.01. Then I have to upgrade it to 3.4.02 or 4.0 (). What happens? The forum will work again or not? Is it the possibility to lose some information? (I think not, because all infos are in the database).
Thanks |

You reinstall the mod on your new version BUT you can transfer the Database across. |

I ran into a problem when I went to add an avatar. The Avatar Review page does not automatically add /avatar to the path so you have to type in the entire path to the avatar and when I did that it wouldn't show up in topic or the profile etc. I think the review page just needs avatar added to the path where the avatar is previewed.
