3.4 seems so much faster than 3.3

What was it? What kind of coding improvements were made? Just curious.

A big reduction/optimization to the number of database calls and use of things like Recordset.GetRows instead of recordset navigation. Use of session variables also spares some database calls.
I'd say it's mainly these things that allowed the increased performance.
