Hello all,

Before you get sick of my constant badgering, please answer me this!

When I create a forum in a category it is not being displayed under that category in the defaut.asp standard view, it is however visable in the 'Set the order of the Forums / Categories' window.

Have I done something stupid?

Thanx

Rax

do you have Group Categories turned on? Are you viewing the "Default Categories" or the "All Categories you have access to"?

When you add a new category, you'll also need to add it to the "Default Categories" if that's where you want it to show.

Is it a hidden forum and you don't have access to it? Just a guess...

Or is the category minimized? You go to the link to the left of the category and it says to expand...

Just some guesses.

Tried all that it just says No Forum Found below every category, even though in the 'Sort Categories / Forums' popup window the forum is listed below it's category.

Can you post a link to your forum? Also, could you e-mail me your Admin username/password so I can check it.

I am also having the same (or at least similar) problem.

I have Snitz running on IIS 5, and SQL Server 2000 running on a different box. Everything seems to be working, except that when I create a forum in a category, I can't see it. When I log in with a standard (level 1) user, I can see the forum just fine. I have tried going into my SQL table and changing my admin userlevel to 1. This allows me to see the newly created forums, but then I don't have admin rights to it.

Please help!

Can you create an additional admin account and email me the name/password and the URL to your forum? I'd like to have a look, because I can't reproduce this in my forum.

Ok, I've seen it, though I can't understand why. This is really weird and very difficult to test, because I can't reproduce it locally.
Let's see if Richard comes with something. I'll try and have a look at the code to see if I understand how this can happen...
