I installed v3.4, but I can't see the link to the Admin Options. There is no Admin Option Link at the top right of my page How do I go to my administrator area? |

if you can't see the link after having logged in as admin, you should delete all cookies, close all browser windows and try again. That should solve the problem. You can also try going directly to admin_home.asp which will ask you to login, after which you should be sent to the admin section. |

Do you have the URL to your forum so we can take a look? |

Could you give a link to your forums please?
How can you not know if you're logged in as admin? You login to your forums, see your username infront of the logout button and have several icons on default.asp that let you modify the categories and forums. You should then also see the "admin options" link, but if you don't, deleting all cookies, closing all browser windows immediately and then trying again should fix it. |

OK, I installed it again, and again no admin link. When I go to "members" I get the this error.
"There Was A Problem! You must be logged in to view this page"
My site is local, so I don't know if you can see it, you can sure try: http://lslama_pc/Intranet_website/ |

Have you tried logging in first? If you get a "you must be logged in to view this page" error, it means you didn't log in. |

Yes I did. I can access the Admin login by typing admin_home.asp after the adress, but after I login, the page redirect me to admin_home.asp all over again. |

You installed a new V3.4 or was it an upgrade? If it was new, you have entered an admin name and a password for that account. so, you should be able to login. If it`s an upgrade, the old Admin accounts should work. |

Sounds similar to Whistlers problem of which we don't yet have resolution for either. |

I got it, surprisingly enough it is an IE problem. I did have the same problem that Whistler have, until I used Netscape instead of IE. I am using Netscape 7.0 Thank You all for the help |
