Oops sorry, didn't see the post. I have redownloaded the mod...(original download was yesterday though). I have reinstalled and am still having the same problem. I can see the images as a regular member, but not as Admin. Can you point me to the specific code that causes the problem. Thanks again you have saved me a month of creating a stand alone photo album, that could not compare to the features in this one!

The code is spread out over 4 diffrent pages. Just download and copy over its easier that way. You won't loose anything.

Still no luck wes, it must be me. I will continue to try, but I have virtually started from scratch 5 times now. Still no change.

Not just you. I just downloaded a new copy of the mod and overwrote all the existing photo album files, ran the update (all it did was give me errors that the tables already existed), and I still can't see the photos while logged in as admin. The path is correct, but the file name still has all the spaces (%20). |

I'll chew back through it I may have over wrote the fixed files by mistake. You don't have to run the update just copy the files over. I'm using a new CVS style tool to help keep updates across both the 3.3.x and 3.4.x the same where it needs to be and may have goofed.

I've installed, ran the admin, authorized users, set folder to r/w/a and still it will not upload. Always get "File did not upload to system please contact the system administrator".

Ok, new files up. If you find a %20%20%20%20%20%20%20 problem please list the page. I can't find any more errors about spacing now but that doesn't mean they aren't out there.
Thanks all for the help!

Carefree, check your admin settings. what is the folder name? All problems due to not uploading seem to be incorrect path, improper FSO support, or permissions on the folder. It checks to see if the file is on disk before it will insert a record if it can't find the file it will generate the error you are reciving. |

Burthold,
There is only one thing about the Photo Album that I do not really like. If you are an admin it only allows you to go to the edit page and not the actual photo album. Is there an easy way to change it so you can have either ways to view if you are an admin? |

If you look at it in single album mode it is that way It will change in the next version. The users will be listed if you are an admin that will take you to edit user albums and the "normal" page will be below that with the normal user list and all the things users see. I just didn't have the umph to put it in the current version. Once 1.5 is bug free (I really think it is close) I will start working on the feature set for the next version. I will post a list of added features for people to pick apart soon.
As always, thanks for the feedback David,
Wes |

What did you do to kill the auto resizing popup window? When I click on a pic it is full screen. Other than that I think it looks good. I'm glad you could tie it into your site. From all the mods I've worked with it should be one of the easiest to install, what did you find difficult about the install?
Thanks,
Wes |

Hi Burthold, just thought I'd note a small typo in the readme.txt file, it tells you to update admin_album.asp with the link, should read admin_home.asp
Had me confused for a while

hi wes, about the popup window, i am going to have wallpapers i make up for download and when i click on one of the wallpaper it 1600x1200 and the popup window goes off the screen, i set it in the admin panel to max 640x480 but still goes to 1600x1200, so i just made it go to full screen for now. about the install just had some small probles with the code like images being just a red x, you know the "%20%20%20" thing thats all, other then that it was easy. |
