1.80 beta now supports aspjpeg if it is available on your server. It will look for it if it can't find it it will look for the aspexec component and nconvert to write the thumbnail.

Cheers,
Wes

I take it there are no users in the album yet? Can you give me some more details about your site so I can make sure I know where the error is. Line 277 doesn't have a cint in it.
Thanks for the report I'll check it out!

i installed the mod. ran the admin script, it set up the folder for photos. then i went to album options, clicked the "Album User Administration" button to add some users and i got the "cint" message. i've tried clicking the bottom button for "upgrade photo album" but it didn't do anything. so i dunno.

got the new beta, it works fine now. my server uses aspjpeg it it all works nice and fast. i haven't tried deleting pictures or moderating yet, i need sleep first . thank you so much!

2 points though:

  • the missing footer (see above)

  • there are some open (or too many closed) table tags on photo_album_edit, sqldtl=2. it won't affect the average snitz user, but on my forum it messes up the footer. the first lines of footer are /td /tr /table ?? the same tags are in photo_album_edit somewhere and they are clashing. (i've had this problem with mods before. i'll take a look later and let you know what i find.)

this mod gets better and better! now i must sleeeep....

There may be to many tags I built it to work with my site and I have a custom footer and header when I looked at it under a standard install I didn't see any formatting errors. Thanks for testing it out for me!

serverhacker on around line 365 you will see this block of code
do while cntr < 4 and not(i = intRecordsPerPage)
ref = "<a href=photo_album_cat.asp?sqldtl="&aData(0,i)
ref = ref &"&page="&intPage
ref = ref &">"

you need to delete the line in red. I have no idea why I'm passing the page number to the category must have been a cut and paste error.

Photoalbum beta 3 is up. I think this one is going all the way. I killed all the formatting bugs I think plus the categories error and some other minor things. I also included a troubleshooter page that should be a great help for those having problems.

Cheers,
Wes
