Hi, i have installed the new forum version (but i do not overwrite the db to not lose data).

i receive this error

Microsoft JET Database Engine error '80040e37'

The Microsoft Jet database engine cannot find the input table or query 'FORUM_BADWORDS'. Make sure it exists and that its name is spelled correctly.

/forum/inc_func_common.asp, line 210

what to do ?

What database type are you using?
Did you use the database that came with 3.4, or did you use a copy of an older verion's database?
Did you get any errors when you ran setup.asp?

Please provide a little more information.
For now, all I can say is look in your database to make sure the table FORUM_BADWORDS is there. If it's not, try running setup.asp again.

The dropping of that table is perfectly normal. Don't worry about it. That has to be done because it's a new table that some people already had thanks to a MOD. If it can't be dropped, it'll give that error

I'm glad you got it working now.
