I also realized that register.asp also updates integer fields with string variables ex. '1' when it should be 1. Probably might be in other files too. I will post the changes I make.
From what I have read, (which wasn't much, couldn't find much topics on this) it seems it doesn't make much of a difference if you use single quotes or not when storing data into an integer type column. The database converts it to an integer type.
Since this only affected one user in a certain circumstance, I'm only making the change that was suggested to that particular field.
