I agree, Frutzle. Perhaps even a simple dropdown that controls whether to include a style sheet...will that wont work becasue of the body tag.
Can you redefine the colors anywhere in the page, I have never done it so I am not sure.
The colors are defined in congif or header or wherever.. So can something like the following be done:
if pfbw = "true" then strDefaultFontColor = "#000000" ...redefine the colors end if
Then create a dropdown that will reload the page with pfbw=true in the querystring. and the colors will be defined by the above instead of the stylesheet. |

Why a select box if you can use a simple link at the top of the page? Load the page in b/w by default by including a style sheet, and have a link for FC (full color) on the page. Click it and the page gets loaded without the style sheet, and now a link for B/W.
I must apologise for this reply and my previous reply. They somehow seem to sound like I know what I'm talking about and might ruin the ideas some people have of me. |

When did this become my MOD? I don't need to make any changes before I print something. It's all fine as it is IMO. |

I'm going to leave the file in v3.4 as is. It's easily replaceable when y'all come up with something. |

Didn't you read the thread Brad?
picking "black on white" would override all colors with black text on a white background. And choosing full color would make it the color of the forums, so that better work anyway. |

I agree except that I would rather have it as-is as the default with the link for B/W(non-default). As far a images, I'm not sure whether they should be included in the B/W version. |

here's an idea: get a black and white printer
Seriously though. Smilies are small. I don't see any need for them to be removed from the printer friendly page if it's b/w. Large image files are something else though. But you can't just filter those (or all images) out seeing how they're sometimes what started the topic in the first place. |
