Group Cats are great if you have too many forums, or the forums needs to be categorized. Think of a support forum... You have N software, M versions, for each software you have FAQ, Help, Announcements, etc forums. There it is very usefull...
It will also be usefull if you have multi-language forums. The group-categories can easily show different languages ...

That's the sort of thing I'm going to use it for, we have groups of people, each of which need a different set of forum groups displayed, but some of the categories are to be viewed by more than one of the groups. Group Categories is perfect for that. |

Ok, well since I don't see anyone saying "You're Welcome" and Richard and Huwr seem to be mum when it comes to praises, I'll go ahead and say:
You're Welcome
I has been a tedious journey working on the 3.4 version. I am even more happy that I haven't seen "too" many negative reports about the 3.4 version and that a lot of our users are happy. If you guys don't realize, since we don't get paid doing this, our only pay we get, is the thanks and praises from our users, the community. We are doing this for you guys.
Although I don't feel too comfortable accepting the praises, since Richard took the blunt of the weight of coding, fixing, modifiying, and releasing this version.
But my thanks also goes to our Moderators who helped the DEV Team with the 3.4 version. Your help was appreciated and it really helped shed some of the work that was needed to get done for the 3.4 version. Considering that it was not part of the role you were assigned (as moderators), but thanks again for your time and energy you put in to help.
Now if only you guys can persuade Richard and Huwr to give a speech. lol |

Well, quoting you, and speaking for myself, in spite of my own meaningless contribution, I can only say:
You're Welcome.
It's a pleasure to be able to give even a very small contribution, compared with the work you guys have done.

Yes, I agree. 3.4 is simply the best version easily surpassing most paid forums.
Great work guys, you just got yourself a dedicated fan. |
