Why is FORUM_ID included in the URL when I reply to a topic?
e.g. post.asp?method=Reply&TOPIC_ID=32350&FORUM_ID=1
The FORUM_ID can be worked out from the TOPIC_ID, so it seems a bit pointless to include it. |

And, out of curiousity, what happens if the forum ID is included and the topic was moved during reply? Isn't the forum_ID invalid at that point?

Pweighill, your post worked. Yes, there does appear to be a bug, and I think I know how it works.
However, I'm not going to explain how to explot it till its been fixed. |

Nathan it doesn't even look like it checks the FORUM_ID. |

No, the Forum_ID is only checked when posting a new topic, not reply.
Unfortunatly, its used without being checked when replying. |
