Hello! I hope someone can help me in the right direction. I currently run Snitz on a club website, PKC. Runs GREAT! We seem to have some question about being able to only allow members of PKC to post messages.
Would this type of setup be against the rules here? I would really love to continue using the snitz forums, have used it for some time now with only minor issues.
Please let me know your thoughts! mike@digoxy.com
Thanks in advance, Mike

No problem, it is allowed, and also supported. Do you know how to do it?

The only rules for running snitz are that the powered by link must stay intact and the copyright info must stay in all the asp pages. Other than that you are free to do anything you like to it... |

You need to edit each forum properties where you want to have only your members posting, so that Auth Type is set to Allowed Members Only or Allowed Members Only (hidden). Then, at the members list below, select all members you want to allow on that forum.
You need to do this for each and every forum where you want controlled access.
With this, only authorized members will be allowed to even see the posts in these forums. |
