I installed the email validation MOD, but it gives me the following error message when I try to view the pending member list
Microsoft OLE DB Provider for ODBC Drivers error '80040e37'
[Microsoft][ODBC Microsoft Access Driver] The Microsoft Jet database engine cannot find the input table or query 'FORUM_MEMBERS_PENDING'. Make sure it exists and that its name is spelled correctly.
/cpn_forum/admin_accounts_pending.asp, line 160
Also, when I test to register as a new user, I did get an email with link to the forum, but not the radom 16 character key for activiation. Once I register, I can go direct to the forum without validation.
Anything wrong?
Thanks,
George

Did you run the database setup file for the mod? Make sure you are using an Access 2000 connection string in your config.asp file. |

Yes, I did. I am not sure if it is because I have installed a number of Mod before. I have installed the annoucement mod, hide email mod. What I did is to download the same files from my host server and copy the changes from your files to my files. I tried two times but got the same problem.
Thanks,

Again I emphasize: "Make sure you are using an Access 2000 connection string in your config.asp file." |

I have searched for the answer to my problem but have been unsuccessful in fixing my issue. I am getting the "your emails do not match" error when a user tries to register. I tried the fix (removing the duplicat Email2 field) for it on the inc_profile.asp page, which did not work. I posted up for help but no replies from anyone. Then my problem disappeared, so I removed my post on the topic.
Now the problem is back and I have not touched my code. Can someone please point me in the right direction? My inc_profile and register files are here:
http://66.221.40.52/forum/inc_profile.txt http://66.221.40.52/forum/register.txt
I would really appreciate any assistance I can get.

I have been experiensing similar problems.
Running on Access 2000. Snitz 3.3.0.5 www.b68.fo/snitz Have implemented the "Hide Email"
Implemented the changes in existing files manually.
Did get the quote: [Microsoft][ODBC Microsoft Access Driver] The Microsoft Jet database engine cannot find the input table or query 'FORUM_MEMBERS_PENDING'. Make sure it exists and that its name is spelled correctly.
Went back to the MOD setup only to be told that the table existed. (Don't know where as it wasn't in my database ) Ended up creating it manually.
Running without the MOD works like a charm.
The problems I get are : - email did not match. (Only one email field)
- When trying to modify existing members as admin I get 4 different errors email/password etc.
If someone has a solution, or a link, please point me in the right direction. |
