Hi,
i am using the current version of the snitz-forum under windows 2000 with IIS5. All works fine - but one thing is happen :
Even when a new user is connecting to the board he got an error message from the IIS, that the a password must be filled in. Well, i am using the function "nt-auto-logon" and i don't know, why a user get this message.
In a posting here i've read, that i should modify the field for the password on the database. well, i've done it. after this i will become a error-message from the forum, wich told me, that the mail-adress is in use and that should take another.
Well, in my configuration (nt-auto-logon) i can't type an password or an e-mail-adress.
Can anybody here tell me, what is wrong in my board ?
Many thanks and Greetings
Nick

Set the Email setting to so the same email can be used.
goto admin section then E-mail Server Configuration
set Require Unique E-mail: to off

Hi,
i'm using NT-Auth, too and had the same Problem.
First in IIS you have to deactivate "anonymous Login" and activate integrated (or is it built-in ?) Windows-Authentication. (Sorry, i have the german IIS here)
Then in Snitz-Admin-Panel you have to set NT-Groups and automatic-Logon to off.
I remember there was a bug in Snitz-Forum with this Unique-Email-Function, although in my Intranet-Forum i have activated it.
