There will only be an english version... however, all the text will be in one file (or perhaps a table) and the translation will be a one time deal... and once it has been done for one language, the source file will be posted to this website for others of the same language preference to download and use for free.

When will the internationalization project start? I mean not after the next version. I mean something like a date or in how many days could the project start. The forum seems to be stable enough. Or isn´t it?

planning on taking one more stab at the "Bug Reports Open" forum... and as long as there is nothing major after that... it's Internationalization time.

if i want to upgrade to Release 4, is it just download the file from http://forum.snitz.com/archive/redirect.asp?linkid=31

Jocelynn, don't overwrite your database file, and be sure to set up your new config.asp the same as the old version before you upload it.

Yes, just change the strDBType and strConnString in de new config.asp file so they are the same as in the old config.asp and re-upload all the files except the tools.zip or the Snitz_Forums_2000.mdb file.
If you upgrade from any Version 3.1 ... you wouldn't even have to re-upload the gif-files, because they haven't changed since then.

I have a question about the copyright requirements. Our internal intranet policies require that we not advocate the use of one product over another, advertise a specific product, etc.

I desire to use Snitz Forums for our education section of our intranet (so staff members can ask question regarding specific training topics, etc).

It is acceptable to leave copyright info that is embeded in each asp page, but the hyperlink that points back to Snitz Communications is making the webmaster sweat bullets and he feels he will be fired if persist in leaving the hyperlink in place.

Could someone contact me regarding this issue?
