I've done a search and couldn't come up with any threads with this problem.

I have a brand new installation of v. 3.3.05 and have installed the Active Users 4 mod. I removed the extraneous material in LangMODS_Ls3kAU4.asp to remedy the syntax error.
First, when I went to the admin panel there was an "LI" dot but no text beside it where the "config activeusers" line should be. Also, when I load admin_config_activeusers.asp, the drop downs, radio buttons, etc. are there, but there is no text next to any of them.
I've got the proper lines at the end of config.asp, and have all the language files in my forum directory. I'm not sure what would be causing this.

Okay, got it sorted out. In case anyone else has this problem...

When I had the LangMODS_Ls3kAU.asp including the LangMODS_Ls3kAU_1033.asp, for some reason the variables from that file never made it back to the pages mentioned above. So I took the content of LangMODS_Ls3kAU_1033.asp and put it directly in LangMODS_Ls3kAU.asp instead of the include statement.
Works now.

I had the same problem with V. 3.3.05
