I down loaded and installed the forum announcements mod: http://forum.snitz.com/forum/topic.asp?TOPIC_ID=27045 and everything works fine until I click the link to view a newly created announcement. The javascript pop up window containing the announcement opens verybriefly, then closes itself. Anyone know why this could be happening???
Nevermind, Richard, I think I figured it out. I think it has something to do with time offset because if I set the start time of the announcement 2 hours sooner than the default current time, it works fine... It is not calculating the -2 hour offset of my forums. So if I leave the default start time, I need to wait 2 hours before my announcement starts working!
Yes ! Have the same Problem and it seems that i always have to set the StartDate to the current Time of where the Server is. I have a timeoffset of +6 (Germany) and so i have to set StartDate to 6 hours earlier.
@ Richard Is there a way to fix it, so Forums with TimeOffset can use normal Forum-Time by adding an Announcement ?
