hey sibi, i am sorry i dont look again at the snitz forums as much as i did before. but i really dont like having to check each post to see if new replies have been made...i like to be notified by mail if something new occurs since i check my maily several times a day...
anyways much has been done to that mod actually.. and it now evolved to be file sharing mod...it replaces mike's file upload, file lister and photo album mod into one single mod...
its much like a shared file enviroment where each member may view other members' files...
and i solved the script time out porblem you are having in the new version...

Is there a MOD avaiable for"Mikes file attachment" So the attachment will auto load into the post with out using the img tags?
I also have a problem with the up load. I can only upload a very few pictures maybe 1% upload.
I get this message in the pop up box 8 out of 9 times
There is a problem with the file you are attempting to upload.

Filename Pictures 236.jpg File names must use only valid characters
Extension .jpg Certain file extensions are not accepted
Size 645.57 KB File sizes must be reasonable

Seems to be an issue that files with # in the filename are allowed but fail in the link due to the #.

I just download Mike's file attachment from the first post of this thread
(I assume it is the most original one)
My Snitz is 3.4.0.3
Upload is working, I check using ftp seeing that the files are in the
Data directory
When I open the topic and try to download, I can see the link
But if I click it, it just display the content of the file (if it is text)
if it is binary, it gets error
Am I download by clicking the file, or ????????

korayem, your version looks pretty nice.
I haven't been here in quite a while due to personal and family
reasons. In fact, it's been so long I find myself forgetiing the
layout of mine and mike's mods codewise  . Anyway, just logged
onto your test site and I think that your version looks pretty good. |

yeah James and the good news is that i am preparing it for the FINAL release somewhere in the next 20 days i hope...
i am really glad that some of this community appreciates my work. and i am really glad to pay some work of mine in return to the whole snitz community 8-D |
