Hi to anyone that can help, I am trying to customize the Snitz Forum for my companies website. However, I need to add several features to it and want to do some ASP coding to add those features. So I want to make a few MODS notibly:
A Rating system on the basis of questions as well as answer and have search capabilities that sort out answers according to those ratings,
IP address tracing so that when people do not register, they can still be delivered customized content
To do the above I know that I need to add some tables to the database and somehow work with the existing code that sends and recieves cookies from users computers. I have done programming before but I am new to ASP. So I want to learn how Snitz Works, how all the files are linked together, and where exactly to code in my modifications and link them to the existing code. Is there any documentation explaining the code? if so where can i find them. Thanks for any help you can offer. Cheers.

Take a look at the website below instead of venturing into recreating the modifications you need. You might find something of interest there. If the documentation included in the downloads is not sufficient for you, then come back to the Snitz forums and do a search for the information. The search link is in the upper right corner of the forum by the login area.
If you don't find your answer right off the bat, do an extended search into the archives (older posts). Some of the MODs at the Snitz Exchange were made for older versions of the forums, and though their MODs still exist, some of the MOD creators who were once here are no longer available to answer questions about their MODs. Discussions and commentaries about their MODs are often found in the archives. Remember to use your keywords wisely and accurately.
When you have exhausted those resources please post your questions to the community in the Help: MOD Implementation forum when asking about the MODs. There are a lot of helpful, concerned ASP gurus here who would be glad help!
Below is the Snitz (MOD) Exchange URL:

Good luck,
