Who has the best portal mod? Is HUWR still the best out there?
Is there a mod you can add to 3.305 that will do the trick?

HuwR's code is the best now, and it promises many other develeopments for the future.
If you want to customize it, it's pretty flexible, and HuwR gives the support in his own forum for many questions regarding his code.

Dont be so moddest crash. Your code is also quite good, actually very excellent for those that dont wanna install complicated mods and such. Its based on Huwrs code with alot of improvements, re-structuring, addons, etc.. But yes your right, Huwrs Code is the friggin best :)

The Snitz portal MODs I've seen make actual forum upgrades difficult since the portals usually have quite a bit of code integrated into the forum code. Because of this, I've been looking into independent portals to integrate Snitz into so each piece of the portal can more easily be upgraded independently instead of waiting for a complete portal upgrade. Unfortunately though, this requires more initial setup time since the total package isn't prebuilt. I'd be more likely to use Snitz portals if each piece could easily be upgraded independently from the rest. And yes, I know technically, each piece can be upgraded, but this usually requires changing code throughout the portal. As independent 'plug-ins', I can use forum code from one place, polling code from another, messenger or chatroom code from somewhere else, etc. and integrate them together yet be able to upgrade each independently. Many people though just want a simple install and take what they get which is fine for most people.
