is there mod that i can add to my forum so that when active users says there is some one online i can msg them over the forum to say hi. with a window coming up on there computer if you get me.????
I've never seen it, but it shouldn't be too hard and it sounds like a cool idea. If you wanted to do it, all you would have to do is link to the pm (private message) send mail using the id in active users. You may have to mess with it a bit, but it could work. Also, a window is not going to pop up unless you make it so that new messages create a pop-up.
yes there is a mod for this, but not sure if it has been updated for v3.3. I can't remember the name of it but when I visited sites that installed this mod I did not find it very friendly to use. just use the active users area to send a PM??? I find that more useful than anything... otherwise you may want to look for some chat mods that are around here.
Yeah I guess it's not "like" the PM Pager, it is the PM Pager. I have seen more and more of these around the web recently. I even saw one that gives you a choice between the regular ASP pager and a Flash version.
