Hi there!
I've developed a rather easy mod where the admin can change the the size of all the input fields (Input, Dropdown and Textareas) in the forums from the Font/Table Color Code Configuration page.
It is very easy to install and only consists of one file with modification information.
Get it here! 
Just let me know if you have problems or a question of any kind!
(It's my first mod....)
