Here is a very limited upload add-on that should only be
used on private forums (for security reasons).
It's very easy to install because it's very simple.
It is however the only thing I've managed to come up with and
I haven't found a ready made mod compatible with the current version of Snitz.

So here it is
http://www.pcgf.co.uk/upload.zip
Anyway have fun, tell me if you use it (unlikely as that is)

you should state that this requires that ASPUpload: http://www.aspupload.com/

has to be installed on the server for this to work.

There are a couple of free ASP upload cmponents about, plus there are ways of doing it without the need for components.

My Upload MOD (no components) will be rereleased after 3.4 has been released.

I have an upload mod that I put in my Snitz Admin_home.asp that uses the .NET framework and Forms authentication. This way even if they get into the admin_home.asp they still need the authentication from the upload page as well.

It also is configurable to what directories you want to allow uploading to.

I have ASPUpload installed in my server.

but I don't see so much performance changes with this.

what are the key differences with FSO in terms of performance.

thanks.

you should find that AspUpload is less likely to timeout, and uses less resources on the server

thanks HuwR, I didn't think that at first step, you're right. Especially with big files, it's really makes difference.

I also see some goodies in http://www.aspupload.com/

@MaD2ko0l

I have tried it, and worked.

normally it gives server.create object error if the component is not installed.
