Hi.
Some of my forum members are receiving validation emails with weird typos:Fsrum (instead of Fórum), Vocj(instead of você), etc.
I tried to replace those special letters with the Latin-1 html character codes & Agrave; & Ccedil; & Eacute; in my lang pac and also in other files.
But the result was Voc& e c i r c ;(Você) F& oacute;rum(Fórum) etc
Is there a way around this?
I'm using Version 3.3.04 and also multi lang beta version

Thanx,

LC

V4b3 did not deal with these. It will be in the next beta release. See here to read about the development: http://forum.snitz.com/forum/topic.asp?TOPIC_ID=26784

You can make your own research to find how to add encoding to the e-mail component you are using. See this link to find links to component resources: http://forum.snitz.com/forum/topic.asp?ARCHIVE=true&TOPIC_ID=22957

If you can't do it, I can be of help ...

Thank you.
I'll get back to you if I can't fix it by myself using your directions.
