right i have got past the installing part and as i went to post somin to make sure is was workin it gave me this error

"Please don't attempt to edit the URL to gain access to locked Forums/Categories"

i know for a fact that the forums are not locked coz they aint got the little padlock over the little folder.

so can someone please tell me what i am doing wrong

Can you give us a link to your forums please, and specify the following:

Snitz version
Database type, i.e. Acess97, Access2000 SQL

Not sure if i can help or not on this one, but these questions will most certainly help the person who can lol :)

yeah bb i saw u signed up

thanx everyone for your help

i cured the problem dont know what a done but i deleted the files fromt he server and reuploaded them and run setup.asp and everything was fine

dunno wot it was
