It seems that if you subscribe to any level above "topic" then you don't get emailed on new replies being posted. Just new topics. Am I imagining this or is this by design or a bug.
Ideally you should be able to subscribe to the whole board, category, or forum, and then be able to select if you want all replies or just topics.

I can't find any bug there. Subscriptions also work for replies on any subscription level. But note that you don't get emailed for your own topic and reply postings.
