I installed Huwr's user field mod. I had to rename inc_mod_config.asp to mod_config.asp for some reason. Anyway, the user fields work fine, but I've lost the ability to make changes in the forum feature configuration. Only configure catagory/forum order will hold changes I make. The rest say changes successful, but they don't take effect and if go back to that function, it is as it was before I made changes.
