Someone asked for a password reminder, and received the "Sorry. The details you supplied were wrong or unknown." message. He responded to the message asking me a question, and quoted the message. In it I notice that is says:
Please register again at
http://hockeyfights.com/forums//register.asp?mode=Register
Thank you for using hockeyfights.com forums
So, this gives me my page still, but can't read the right directories for most things (like my style sheets). I look in pop_pword.asp and see this:
strMessage = strMessage & "Sorry. The details you supplied were wrong or unknown." & vbNewline & vbNewline
strMessage = strMessage & "Please register again at " & strForumURL & "/register.asp?mode=Register" & vbNewline
So, I think I'll just go and change the forum url in my settings (knowing it's http://hockeyfights.com/forums/ - thinking I'll just take away the "/" at the end). BUT, when I go there to change it, I get this:
There Was A Problem With Your Details
You Must end the Forum URL with /
So, I realize I must edit the code above if I want the URL to display correctly.
I do not know if you'll consider this a "bug", but I thought I'd point it out. Also - I did a search and couldn't find anything about this. My apologies if someone covered it already.
