After switching on NT authentication, I wondered how Snitz knows which of the members is the system administrator. In the database there is a FORUM_MEMBERS table with a record per registered member. Is the system administrator the member with a MEMBER_ID of '1' or is it the member with M_NAME of 'Admin' or something else?
I need an explanation of how Snitz uses NT authentication and some assurance that (1) no-one else can impersonate the system Administrator, (2) that I can make the system administrator account as secure as possible, and (3) that I can transfer the system administrator role to some other user once the forums are set up.
At the moment, it seems pretty easy to get into the admin options; I clicked the Admin Options link, entered 'Admin' for the username and nothing for the password, clicked OK, and Bob's Your Uncle, I was in as the Admin.
Regards,
Ian.

Its the same as the BD mode.

If you have Admin rights then you have it.

The admin account should be renamed. If you have a Domain account called Admin it might see that as the same person.

Rename the account and set a password.
logon as you and set your set as admin. Might have to do this manualy. I think i had to.
