After switching on NT authentication, I wondered how Snitz knows which of the members is the system administrator. In the database there is a FORUM_MEMBERS table with a record per registered member. Is the system administrator the member with a MEMBER_ID of '1' or is it the member with M_NAME of 'Admin' or something else? I need an explanation of how Snitz uses NT authentication and some assurance that (1) no-one else can impersonate the system Administrator, (2) that I can make the system administrator account as secure as possible, and (3) that I can transfer the system administrator role to some other user once the forums are set up. At the moment, it seems pretty easy to get into the admin options; I clicked the Admin Options link, entered 'Admin' for the username and nothing for the password, clicked OK, and Bob's Your Uncle, I was in as the Admin. Regards, Ian.
