i propably shouldn´t post this here but because you all have snitz then maybe you have encountered this error.

when i install IIS and then restart my comp there comes a windows protection error. and i uninstall iis then it´s ok

i have
1200mhz amd athlon (t-bird)
abit kt7a-raid
geforce256

and my internet adaptor
Alcatel ADSL Speed touch modem

i have adsl256

plz help me

does it write anything to your error logs ? if so what.

Do you have any ISAPI extensions or ASP components loading which may cause the error.
